Charles Paddock Zoo

Tiger Statue

Located in the small town of Atascadero, about 45 miles north of Santa Maria, the Charles Paddock Zoo provides a unique selection of animals on view; one you would not expect in this area of the Central Coast of California. The zoo is just west of the junction of Highways 41 and 101 and sits next to Atascadero Lake and park. Below are pictures of some of the animals I saw there (the tiger above is a statue at the zoo entrance). [Note: My visit was several years ago so be aware that animals come and go.]
